Ok.Its been over three long months now since i had my last fix of caravanning and im starting to get a little twitchy. The nights are starting to get a little longer now and the other day i even felt a hint of warmth in the sun.I dont know how much longer i can stay on the straight and narrow with this addiction ive got.To make matters worse ive got to move the van to a storage site 100 miles away in North Wales tomorrow. This means a long trip with the van and no holiday at the end of it and that's like dangling a fix infront of a junkie in my view.Anyone else getting the shakes?

Every day I look at our caravan, all wrapped up in her winter cover and wish it was March. Coz, halfway though that month the cover comes off and we get to see if shes survived the winter and ready for her first trip out at easter. We are of to Cei Bach, Nr new Quay. We have had some really good easters on that site, so lets hope the weather behaves itself again this year.
Its not been so bad this year (caravan withdrawal that is) as we did a 3 night stay over the New Year.
Regular trips to the storage help, just to check on the van and have a cup of tea in it you understand!!
Planning this year out holiday wise and making all the bookings have also given us a lift...looking forward to Easter and a trip to St. Neots. Counting down the weeks on the calendar.
Our van has been "parked up" in storage since Mid November and I'm definetly getting the shakes. I regularly make up excuses in my own mind to get down and check up on the van, Then I'll have a word with the mrs, Things like "oh luv I'm gonna check the battey today to see If it's still holding the charge" And: Gonna go down to the compound and see if there's any moss forming on the back of the van from where the drips off the trees form.
However, When i get there i'll just have a quick check around the van inside and out and sit there with a packet of crisps and a drink thinking how desperate Iam to hook it up to the motor and tow it off somewhere nice. Furthermore I'm contemplating making an appointment with a councillor about my disorder as It's really taking over my life. It's the sniffing of the toilet chemicals that's really alarming me as I'm getting through a bottle a day now. I'm extremely concerned that I may start injecting It very soon.

Er, don't you mean the nights are getting shorter and the days longer?

The thought of getting the caravan out keeps me going on these cold miserable days and nights. Roll on Easter, Chester for us. I may get the van out for a couple of nights if the weather improves in Febuary half term, booked up 42 nights for 2010 though.
