I have always wondered why caravan manufacturers haven't experimented using materials unaffected by water for their caravan construction.  This seems the way to go.  The only fly in the ointment I can see is the new width allowed for vans.  Perhaps they will increase their width in some future models to make use of the extra 30cm allowed.

If I was looking to get a new van I think one of the new baileys would be my choice.

I was dissapointed to see that there was no layout like my Burgundy in the Olympus range, only in the Pegasus. I certainly prefer the extra 4 inches of width in the Pageant S7 too, it makes a big difference in those tight areas like the shower.

GRRR we pick up our first and last (retire in 4 years) brand new van on Saturday, a Ranger GT60 520/4. I would definitely have considered the Olympus if the price is right for the 10year warranty. Looking at the weights, they are heavier than the Ranger GT60s, and they don't make a nearside fixed bed layout except end washroom. So I'm glad I'm getting the Ranger. I do like the open feel in the 520/4 much more than the rather cramped front end of the 460/4. 

They definitely seem to be Pageant weights. I wish I could have the extra 2" internal height, being 6'4"
