I check the noseweight at the storage site, normally the weekend before we tarvel, as we have everything in position in the van by this time.  I never check the noseweight at the caravan site for the journey home, on the basis that if I put everythinig back the same, it should be the same weight.  I think ours is a Milenco and cost about £20 from memory.  (didn't keep the receipt or have the price on a list anywhere  )

Total in Van just adds up automatically everytime you add a weight in or change one

Max Noseweight you get from your car manual

Actual - you measure with the Millenco or other guage. Once you have packed your van properly to achieve the right noseweight it should alwsays be the same if you pack the identical way

Ratio of Van to Car kerbweight always works out automatically everytime you change/add weights in.

So you just have to spend very little time weighing what you normally take and adjust very little each time you go out in the van and the spreadsheet will tell you if you have the right proportionate weight of the van for your car so you know you are safe. As the Meerkat say "simples"

Just to give you extra leeway the weight of the gas is never the maximum quoted in my list.....you never go home with a full cylindar!!!
