I think the biggest problem is the no shows who don't even ring up and cancel.The pitches are held all day when others could have taken them up. If you ring up and cancel then you should not be charged. If you don't ring up then you are charged and a black mark goes against your name.

I would just like to say that although I think the clubs booking system is IMHO pretty awful I think the club its self is excellent and the standard of sites and staff is superb.
However I dont think, as has been repeatedly stated that this is a popular site only problem, in fact it appears that it may be exactactly the opposite, I was lucky enough to have a chance meeting with a couple last autumn who were aware of the growing number of no shows at their ' non popular site ' , prior to this we had met a lovely couple in France (C&CC management) who stated that the problem did not exist to the same degree in the C & CC .
 Anyway you can call me cynical,  but  I think the CC has already decided on a course of action and will mould the survey to suite .
