WellI found one 2003 at £4200 on an auction so yes I think it's cheap but it is a big bu**er!

you are going to need some sort of large 4x4 to tow it and may well go over the 3500kg threshold for driver licencing.

I think your car might be alright for following behind with the awning!

If you want to keep your astra you need to think MUCH smaller in terms of caravan.

like this one on ebay? thats one heavy van.need to know the MTPLM before giving advice.ether way its going to be a large 4x4.to be safe the van weight needs to be at 85% of the cars kerb weight.

There was a 2003 one on Ebay, ended 1/2/10 at £3800 but reserve was not met. It is 1950kg  gross weight and over 7'6" wide. At the moment it can only be towed in Britain by a goods vehicle over 3500kg. It will be bought by someone who will keep it on a permanent site.
