hi,this might sound daft but you know the wee chest of drawers with the bit you pull out to make up a double bed,well my caravan doesnt have this.hubby was going to make foldabla slats for between the seats but i was wondering where i could get the drawers thingy from?? any ideas.ta xx ps. where could i get a table to make up the bed if i cant get a drawer thing?

try a caravan breakers or maybe ebay ?  it may be difficult to get the exact width required for your van or the correct shade of wood to match what you have in the rest of your van.

hmm,never thought about colour match! i might have to make do with the homemade slats.thanks x

The slats don't come out from the drawers,ours are fastenened to a piece of wood that slides out from under the base and has the slats fastened on webbing and pull out from underneath in to a plastic runner

A piece of wood either side and some slats cut to side from and old bed and find some way to fasten both ends when in use then just roll them up when not
