and was wondering how much i could get for it as i keep getting messages asking would i take £500 for it etc,i dont know what to say to them apart from just let it run its course?Any advice greatly appreciated! Liz
You will get messages from dodgy people asking if you will take a silly price (have been known to do it myself) they don't care what they buy - they are just going to move it on for a quick profit.
Ignore them unless you get one that is near what you think it's worth.
If it doesn't sell you may still get messages offering to buy it. I think these are very dodgy.
You have listed it without a reserve so if you only get 1 bid of £500 you will have to sell it at that. You have stated you require paypal deposit but most buyers would want to pay cash on collection & nothing in advance if they have not veiwed the caravan beforehand so this may put off bidders, you can modify the listing.

People cancel "no reserve" auctions in the last minutes all the time. Most "no reserves" are just another con.
I put mine on ebay about 18 months ago hoping to get about £500 because that is what I was told it was worth.
In the last 4 mins of the auction it went from £650 to over £1350! It's never over till it's over! Good luck.
I put a reserve of £400 on it!
Ps, you don't get twice as much if you post twice.

Well quite, but for the purpose of this thread I'm assuming the op is a 'responsible' ebayer.

Yesi am a resposible ebayer and so no i wont be withdrwing it from auction at the last minute! What i get is what i get,id be happy to get £1000 but if not then so be it,all will be funds towards my newer Van and i cant wait!;-)
Damp always sets bells ringing...... to break the van and sell the best bits will bring in £1000 if you sell them in the Spring when everyone wants to convert their Transits to motorhomes for Glastonbury etc.
