and I am so excited! We are going to Auchterader for a Mon-Fri break - never been to that area so really looking forward to it.

Today is sorting out the van day - putting in the house the things we don't need like barbecue, chairs etc, removing the baking tray with 2 rock solid sausages from the oven (mingers!), checking battery/gas etc. I have the water carrier steeping in the bath and will flush out the water system tomorrow (packing day!)Cleaned all the cupboards and surfaces,hoovered the carpet and topped up the tea/coffee/sugar etc

I always like 2 days to get ready for a holiday - have already spent 30 mins in the van with a cup of tea getting in the mood! OH has put up our new kitchen roll holder and put 5 cup hooks about the sink to hang kitchen utensils on. Got a nice new dish drainer with its own tray from IKEA

Looking forward to our first trip away next weekend.  Don't know what the weather will throw at us mind you.  Getting the van on Tuesday so that we can give it a spring clean and get some heat running through it.  Can't wait.

We are getting ready aswell, cleaned the van today, even took the roof lights off and give um a good scrub, van looks like new.  Cant wait for the 12th March which will be our first outing going to Garstang nr Preston.

I remember doing a mountain leadership course in the area and getting hot sunny days for nearly a week. Mind you walking with a full pack I was pretty glad for the occasional rainfall to cool me down

Good weather for nearly a week Rune Caster? Must be some kind of record! Love the area though, visit alot, the area around LLanberis is something special.

Hi        Cannot wait to make our first trip out at easter the caravan has still got the winter cover on and it is shiny as a new pin .we are going for four nights at blue rose adult park with a service pitch .at Bransburton it is a new site .

had our first trip out last week over in minehead it was cold but nice and warm in side the van, every thing worked after being parked up for three months, next outing in three weeks,wisemans bridge down by saundersfoot cant wait.

I think the mrs is going to book 4 days at Blackmore in mid April..Can't wait...I've also got myself a new leisure battery to test out so it could be a non ehu pitch.
