Just thought I'd let anyone who's interested know that the Kojack Scissor jack is on sale in Halfords for £40 (Reduced from £59.99). Bought 1 today and it looks a reasonably made piece of kit.
Sounds really good, does anyone know if the brackets will fit on my Elddis Crusader Super Scirroco twin axle. According to the spec the brackets it will fit the BPW chassis that I have, but I have a Power Touch quad mover fitted. Would the brackets clear the movers forthe jack to engage?
Friends of ours bought one a couple of years ago thinking it would be great on unlevel pitches,to this day they have never used it so imo unless you camp on such sites save your money .
I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of pitches - even hard standings - that I've found require no side-to-side levelling. But then, maybe I'm more fussy than your friends? Also, I like the idea of being able to raise the van more easily should it get a puncture on site. If it happens on the road, I'm more likely to call out the rescue service.
------------- * You never know where you're going 'til you get there...
i have one for 3 years , and yes some people are not fussed about having the van level , and i must admit i heve only used a few times to put the whheel locks on our T/A , and i also like the shower to drain out , if you think you need it buy it , if you think its not worth it why gripe about it ,

You can not fit the brackets to the chassis if you have a quad mover on, similarly you can not fit the spare wheel carrier if you have a quad mover...
------------- Shall we take the awning down; in-case it rains in the morning?
Fitted the brackets a couple of weeks ago and today posted the page Kojack lifting aid. It may be of some help to anyone thinking of getting one. The brackets were easy to fit and after trying it, it seems to be a lot safer and easier to use than a normal scissor/bottle jack.
