Have washed all the bedding and soft furnishings from the van, have started sorting out, am going up to clean inside and out tomorrow (weather permitting), next couple of weeks will book a weekend away, I cannot wait, it feels like it has been forever.
I know what you mean - I bought my first caravan at the end of last year and have spent the winter months doing little jobs. Went up there yesterday to measure for some new blinds, fabric has arrived so that I can recover the seats and I'm ripping the kitchen out and rebuilding it this weekend!! Then when the weather gets a bit better she'll get a lovely wash and polish and will hopefully be ready to hit the road at Easter!!!!
Really excited as never been caravaning before - fingers crossed we get some nice weather.

You'll love it Helen, my husband swore he would never go camping and now he is worse than me. Didn't realise how much I had missed mine till I went to start sorting it out. Roll on next couple of weeks.
could not agree more with everyone!! we were going to go away this weekend but forecast was for frost etc again!! so no go!! I keep finding excuses to go out & potter around in caravan i.e. sun is shining so blinds need lifting so van can get warmed through!! or have to go and put heating on for the odd day!! or...... I dare not get all bedding, towels sorted just yet as I would not be able to bear the excitement!! However we will not be waiting until Easter I can guarantee that!! will probably be away next weekend or middle of March!! Hooray!!
We are going away next Sunday for a few days, weather permitting. We went away just after Christmas, was meant to be Christmas Eve but weather did not permit!
