Hi folks

We have just purchased our first neww caravan and looking for advice on what caravan insurance and any you would recommed?

I also reccomend the C.C.

They are good. Possibly not the cheapest but they do have valuable discounts for alarm systems, attending a towing course, having A.T.C. and for No Claims Discount.

And when something goes wrong they have a really good track record.

We shopped around ringing the insurance companies that advertised in the caravan magazines but always got a cheaper quote with the Caravan club. Also spoke to a person that knew what insurance we needed and how much to insure our caravan and contents for, I would therefore also recommend the Caravan club insurance.

We have just insured with caravan guard. They were very helpful and if you phone up the quote is a lot cheaper than on line. My peggy was only £208 or £280 on line!

CC club for me too. Make sure that every year the falling value of your van is taken into consideration, it makes quite a difference to the premium.

I've been in the C&CC for about 5 or 6 years and always found them very expensive in the past, although this year they were the cheapest.
