Been, gone and come back!
Had 5 days over at Silecroft on the West Cumbrian coast. Lovely site and a good break but horrendous weather! Snow, hail, torrential rain, gale force winds! Stuck in caravan for most of the time playing chess, draughts, reading books and watching DVD's (no TV reception) but it was proper quality family time and we loved it! (although it was a bit scary when the van started rocking with the wind)

weve now changed sites so we can EHU to use electric heater for awning for the kids as they sleep in bedroom pods, and wouldnt beable to settle knowing they maybe cold, but they love going away in van as much as we do, and one is 19
