could any body point me in the right direction caravan being delivered to site next week very excited about that wot do you use for resting corners on under caravan this is our first caravan so not up to speed on things at moment any help would be great thanks
We've fitted those plastic feet - and just have some short lengths of wood to go under the steadies on really soft ground. You may find the site doesn't allow paving flags - if you're sited for a whole season - some do and some don't. If you're touring with the van then the wood is fairly lightweight in the front locker, and up to the job for two or three weeks. You can also use the wood for levelling up the van, under the wheels, so dual purpose!
i use concrete blocks under each leg, and axle stands under the axle`s.I left the wheels on the van this year, but off the ground. If you are going on a seasonal pitch, you will be for ever winding the legs each week or so, with the van settling on the ground. thats why i use the blocks.
------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
Squares of 19mm marine ply [or cheaper weatherproof exterior grade ply]. Four pieces about 8" square for the 4 steadies.
If ground is soft two pieces 8" x 12" for each tyre helps a lot.
