------------- wishing everyone,,,,what you would wish for yourselves x
Turtle mats are fab! They are absorbent door mats which work extremely well. I have 3 in the house and one in the caravan, the oldest is about 14 years old, has been in the washing machine numerous times and is still going strong.

Just got back and had a great day out. Lots to see. Bigger than last year I think. We were there for 8 hours and still more to see. If you are eating there I recommend you go out the halls getting your hand stamped so you can get back in. There are some food places just outside the halls. Just under £10 for 2 pasties and 2 Hot Chocolates. Very nice pasties. Personally I enjoy the day out and am not eating standing up or sitting on a grubby floor.
Yes I agree with your sentiments and we usually have a meal in the food halls even though some of the "chips with everything", or "kept warm in trays" food is not that appetizing, but we went with another couple who wanted to take sandwiches, one of whom is diabetic so has difficulty with some types of food. I did feel that that it would be an expensive day for families regarding food and there should be some rest area for picnicers. Also quite a few of the people we saw were over 60's, as myself and I could have done with a free sit down with all the walking we did, however, spent a fortune on coffee to do so.. One older couple who needed a rest were sat in a caravan taking advantage of the comfy seats but we can't all do that. It is a good show and I enjoyed looking over a canal barge and a really posh yacht! Never have the chance to see without a show like this.

We're going on Saturday - we are after a new porch awning. We love the show, and just bite the bullet and pay the NEC prices for food - there's enough to carry with all the brochures and other bits and pieces you pick up without carrying food and drinks too!! I agree that it would be expensive with a family though.
