If selling a caravan besides advertising on this forum and other caravan forums, what is the best medium or website to sell a caravan without paying through the nose for the advert but also allows you to post pictures? Not sure about using eBay for a classified advert.

I think eBay is about the only place you can get a very good idea of what you are buying (layout wise) from the photographs plus you can search eBay for the van you want and the distance you want to go - I haven't yet found anywhere to equal it unfortunately

Local paper.Before the internet and before trade mags were thought of,everybody raced for the early edition of the local paper if they wanted to buy something  and i think older people who probably don't have the internet still do so i always use our local paper.9 times out of ten the buyer will say they saw my ad there first.

I have sold both my van and my car through ebay. The classifieds on ebay are great as the fees are lower.  I also added a video tour of my van to youtube and linked my ebay listing to it and this got a great result.  I did the same with my car and it generates far more interest from farther afield that way.

I've just sold my sister in laws caravan through Preloved - I had most responses from that, many watchers on ebay, but not many genuine interested questions, nothing from Practical Caravan, so I would say Preloved is the best (just sold my car on there 2 weeks ago also, within one day)

I just sold my Freedom on EBay within 14 hours of it being posted there. Plenty of photographs and it only cost £12.99. Picking up a nice Avondale Mayfair 380-2 tomorrow and can't wait. Another good place is on here in the free adverts or Practical Caravan site was also free.

I have a "Lunar Lexon 640 Freelander" listed as a classified advert but unless you look for the title specifically it does not come up if you enter "caravan" as the key search word.
Can anyone advise what I need to do for it to appear in the touring caravan category when one does a search using "caravan"` as the key search word?
I can see all other listings incl "auctions", "buy it now" and "classifieds" but cannot see my caravan.
Can any one advsie on what I am doing wrong and how I can get it onto the list? Help would be appreciated.

I've sold on eBay but I have also sold for free on preloved freeads adtrader friday ads & Loot.com
I'm not sure that you can post pictures on all of them but you could email pictures to potential buyers.
