Evening/ Morning/ Afternoon all. My question to you all today is regarding alarms. My Caravan is a Avondale Wenlock (1998) and Ive noticed on the control panel a small light bulb with alarm by it, does this mean I have an alarm, if so how does it work? Or am I getting too excited and just a space for one to be hooked into.
On the entry area on the left is a keypad fitted into the furniture, it has a lift up clear plastic cover with 1-9 buttons and four function buttons under the 1-9 buttons. Also under the left front seat behind the battery box is a tilt sensor. Below the keypad is a storage cupboard and under the lower screwed in shelf is the alarm box to which I had to take out to replace the internal 12v alarm back up battery to get it all working again. the system is known as Plug In Systems IDM-1B, this was known as a standard fitting on my van from new.
