Can anybody help me.Some one has give me a old Abi Pioneer caravan and I am after a small awning for it, but the awning rail is only 220 cm high. I was looking at the sunncamp Scenic Plus or the porchlite XL but the height size only starts at 235 cm. Does anybody know if you make makes these awnings fit or is there anymore awnings that will fit my caravan.Someone advised me to put a motorhome awning on it like the kampa travelite or the outdoor revolution movelite.What do you helpful folks think as I am very new to caravaning.Thank You

I have the same problem as my rail height is 215cm and as you say most light weight awnings are for 230cm to 250cm height rails. I suggest you look at NR awnings as I found that they do porch awnings for various heights.

We have an NR porch awning for our Avondale which is 215 cms and like it very much. If you look on their website you can choose the rail height, and the service is excellent.

You can also find a secondhand Isabella Combi 680 porch that will fit, or alternatively for a slightly larger porch you could buy a 750cm awning either new or secondhand and have it set up sa a combi porch.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

I have a 775cm NR awning up for sale for any reasonable offer if it would help, its little used and came off a 13ft Avondale Van.

I got a Pyramid Weekender plus for my old ABI Starlet which had a 215cm awning rail. It probably had 2-3cm each side too much - but worked more than fine for a weekend.

you want to try finding one for my van then :( impossible :( the measurement of the awning rail is just under 700cms so not thinking i bought a lovely eurovent one off ebay to find it wont fit at all!! :( the awning rail is only about 6 foot high... :(

I think the Mayfly is slightly smaller than the Sandmartin. The Sandmartin is 14.5 internal length although I am not sure about the length of the Mayfly. They are very similar.
