Thats lovely, we are hoping to arrange our summer holiday with our friends over  a meal at home tomorrow night, we are so lucky to have people to enjoy holidays with.  Enjoy your holiday.

I just laugh at the comments now, tbh I've been surprised by the people who have said that they would like one. Other people who have seen the caravan think that it is nice but don't fancy the towing.

We're going away with our friends at Easter, previously we've been and they were in a van and we were in a tent (and I was very jealous) and we're really looking forward to it. We've only been away for a couple of short breaks so far so we are looking forward to having some help/advice on putting up the full awning for the first time

I was thinking of asking some of our friends to join us this year for a laugh, but how do you keep the noise down once the wine is flowing ?! I know I wouldn't really want to listen to a party going on next door if there were just the two of us and I'm sure others wouldn't want to listen to me and my cronies shrieking away ! I guess it is just a question of being diligent and keeping the noise down as a courtesy to others ?

I'm very interested to know what others do and/or think ?

I wish we had some friends to go away with, non of ours are interested in caravans or even camping. It gets quite lonely sometimes. Of course we love each others company but it would be so nice to have someone else to talk to as well. I read all the lovely posts on here between people who know each other and feel quite jealous sometimes

Last July we took over a small site only 15 pitches - there were 60 of us adults and children all friends and friends of friends (does that make sence ?). Didn't have to worry about the noise as it was in the middle of Cannock Chase and full of us...best time ever.

So how does it work on normal campsites ? Or are they just so big that the whole lot of you can go off in a corner somewhere ? Please be aware I'm not getting at you -  it sounds like you all have a fantastic time. Good luck to you. I just want to know what to do if we have friends joining us as I'm sure it will be hard to stop the noise once the wine starts flowing. The other thing is some campsites state No Groups but they seem to be ok if you have children. Is this true ? Where can I get some children from ?
