We bought our second hand van from a dealer and he threw in loads of things for us. We got a brand new awning with the more expensive fibre frame, a new fitted ground sheet (and we were able to chose the colours too). He threw in a hitchlock, a hitch cover, butane & regulator, a leisure battery, aquaroll and wastehog - these were 2nd hand, but saved us a few bob
Think there may have been a few other little things too.
We may have paid more for the van through a dealer than a private sale but for our 1st van we felt "safer" buying from the dealer with a 12-month warranty.
He also knocked 20% off our extension mirrors & a few other bits and bobs that we bought from the shop. Couldn't fault this dealer - Flintshire Caravans
We've only used the van once so far, and haven't actually used the awning yet. We bought a cheap porch awning for weekends away - somewhere to dry the dogs and leave wet wellies etc and that was wonderful on our one and only hol in the van so far.
