Sorry i know this one has been asked a hundred times, but !

 

We have just bought a new caravan and been getting several insurance quotes, Towergate have given us a quote for £270.

I know that many people have advised of CCC, but we are not members and no plans to join.

So would appreciate any information on caravan insurance.

Just reviewing mine as its due. I did a quote on www.camparethemarket.com

Caravan Guard came out cheapest by far and £50 below CC&C for the same cover. You will also find it on here

Onequote direct have been by far the cheapest for me, (some wouldnt insure a twin axle costing over £15k) and are hagglable at renew time!

The Caravan Club have been quoted as saying that the caravan insurance business is very competitive at the moment as suggested their own business has suffered as a result so there should be some good prices out there. You just need to make sure that you have the right level of cover should things go wrong. Best to make sure you read the small print.
