At last my folks have actually ordered their new van (newbies)   It's a sprite Finesse2 they should be collecting it from the dealership (Lye caravans Brierley hill) in may.

Which wheel lock is regarded as "the best" or the most effective. They will be purchasing an Alko hitch lock but unsure about the wheel lock.

Having had a bright yellow thing in the past & found it in my neighbours hedge after it had been twisted off our caravan, I wouldn't have anything other than an Al-Ko lock on my caravan.

The Alko wheel lock is sold secure diamond standard. If the barrel lock is removed then the security bolt still has to be removed, which if fitted correctly will be torqued to 86Nm.

I believe some insurance companies offer significant discounts if this lock is fitted.

Oh each lock is registered too.

Wow!!!.... Had a look on youtube and was a bit shocked to say the least.

I've just learned how to pick my own front door lock, and without going into jail do do it. Scarey!!
