Well had a great day yesterday, it was a bit windy but not too bad in the valley where the lock up is. Tidyed the cupboards, removing anything i think is not needed!!(do this every year to have a blitz!!) then hide it coming home as hubby says oh we might need that,!! well its been sat there for two years and never used!!  i wiped down all the surfaces as well.

Then after lugging three barrels of water to lock up, washed the caravan, heating hot water via the gas kettle, it was a good job  well done and she looks nice and spanking new, !!!  just a shame we have to take her on the road to get her dirty again!! wish i could do a star trek and beam me up and take me to my destination!!! that would be good!!

Can't wait to go away easter is nearly here, two and half months home you start to get withdrawl symptons !!!

We should have gone to Chatsworth at the end of Feb. However had to cancel as the wife had had a bunion removed + two toes broken and straightened on Christmas Eve and was still struggling to walk by the end of Feb. She is getting there and can now walk down to the sea front and back (but then needs a good rest). Its Wharefdale for us soon and this Thursday we are bringing the van back from storage to give it a wash and put most everything back into it. Test heating/gaswater. Clean pipes and play at caravanning in the drive etc. Strangely looking forward to getting into the van even if its only for cleaing and getting ready.

We have been cleaning and sorting out over this week ready for our first trip out of the year, this weekend with some friends who are new to caravaning.

 can't wait, I feel like a kid at christmas

I am also at Cranswick. Went down to day to pop the wheels back on the van and bring it home. Checked everything out and all ok except that the heater did not work on the gas. Electric heating was Ok though. Dealer can't fit the van in till April to look at the problem but no worries we can manage on electric whilst in Wharfdale.
