I think its great in principle but we already know that thieves have been using Google Earth for a while now to locate potential caravans to pinch - now they can potentially have a better look at the model before leaving their armchair.  However, I thoroughly enjoyed checking out all our holiday locations.

And have you noticed that places like Stonehenge and Kew Gardens have been captured in great detail, so you can walk round them onscreen? This is really brilliant ... almost as good as spotting that a mate of mine really needs to wash those grotty net curtains he's got hanging in his front window!

I asked google to remove our van from street view, they did so along with the whole end of the cul-de-sac.

I wish I had less to worry about for this to get under my skin.

I think the probelm is that our privacy is being eroded bit by bit. You can't go to many places now that you are not being watched. Privacy is s fundemental right and unless we stand up for it we will loose it. Big brother is watching us and I , for one, object!

Well I agree with you johnks, whether that's unpopular or not.

Although people can walk/drive up you street & take pictures, that doesn't mean it will then be public knowledge that this will be readily available for all to see on the www.
