Think I have a bit of snow blindness lol. Caravan washed all over, two coats of Autoglym and she shines like a new pin. Need to wear shades to look at it now. Seats all vacuumed and put back in place, cupboards emptied, tidied and vacuumed, woodwork polished and bathroom cleaned. Just the curtains to put back in and the carpet to be cleaned. Cant wait to get away now.
Just on with doing ours, noticed a bit of damp on the curtain linnings - so been out to buy new linning and redoing ours to save any smells starting. Happy Spring, roll on loads of holidays x
Did ours yesterday even though it is new a good layer of polish makes a difference. Looking forward to getting away now.Michael where did you stay when you went to Cheshire Oaks? Looking for a site in that area myself.
Checked all services last week. Bringing her back from storage this weekend and giving her a good shower, blow dry and polish. Remove all those mascara runs. Putting all furniture back in, loading up ready to head off for Wharfedale next week. Should have had our first trip of the year a few weeks back, in Chatsworth, but the wife couldn't walk. Had a bunion removed and toes broken to be straightened Christmas Eve and still hobbles. She is just about there now, but had to cancel Chatsworth so looking forward to getting away. Even been talking of staying longer than booked or moving on somewhere else at the end of the week.

Caravan Newbie, only got ours a few months ago. She's no spring chicken(1990) so needs quite a bit of TLC.
So far husband has replaced both roof lights, mended curtain rail & dodgy fly screen, changed filter on water pump, renewed towing electrical plugs and serviced the brakes. Just got to fit the new aerial. I've made new curtains & cushion covers, unblocked the sink and am half way through deep cleaning the outside ready for a coat of high impact insulator wax. Can't believe it but it really does look 10 years younger
We washed ours at the weekend - all shiny and new - glad we had the paintseal finish when we had her! Even the black run marks came off. We are assembling everything in the dining room now - bedding, towels etc. also bag of things like tea, coffee, sugar (we emptied everything out at end of last season!). We are off on Sunday to Hereford C&CC site - brilliant!!
Superbird - enjoy your trip with your "new" van! It sounds wonderful.
