Whatever you like, good places for bikes at night, good place for 3 way fridge in summer for the wine, most people have a halogen heater. Ideal for the dog/s, general wellies/ boot - its endless you'll soon find out what suits you. We've had relatives sleep in ours - and that's not even a full awning!!!

My husband and the dog!!! Both snore way too much lol
Funnily enough when we go away with the Outlaws my MIL, they don't have an awning and if my FIL wants a decent sleep that is where she goes, she snores like a badly tuned diesel engine and errm cuts the cheese too often too. Even their dog refuses to share the awning with her!

He really does sleep in there if he has had a bit too many beers lol And me I get all the van and the duvet to myself ahh luxury lol
and apart from the dog and hubby I keep my boots and coats and bits I'm there
I've got a folding camping wardrobe unit that has shelves. It's great for keeping wine, beer, groceries etc in and the electric cool box sits on the top. I also have a hang-away for wet stuff if it is damp outside and coats. We have our old greenhouse heater (elcetric) for the cool evenings as well.
My ds sleeps in ours with all the muddy boots, coats, a table and chairs, another table for all the bottles of pop to go on and boxes of alcohol and tinned food in other boxes, damp towels, the rubbish bin and everything else that i don't want cluttering up the 'van. Would you believe that we have holidayed quite happily without an awning :)
we keep the kids in ours lol. well in the annexes anyway, but in main awning table chairs, tv, little freezer, wardrobe, dogs, as our van is only a 2 birth so we like to keep most things in awning to free the space in van for when i want to watch the soaps on me own tv, lol
oh we are now starting to take our grandson away and at only 5months old he may be sleeping out there too, only joking il kick grandad out 1st pmsl
