Theres been 1000 threads on the subject of insurance, so this one'll be 1001!  Its renewal time, so who goes where for the best price?  I've been quoyed £285 for £16.5k of cover from Adrian Flux.  Two compare type sites cant get anywhere near this price?

 Can anyone better it?

I've been quoyed £285 for £16.5k of cover from Adrian Flux.

imho i do not think you will better this quote.i find it is better to ring say CCClub or CClub and tell them your quote, and see if they will improve it.worked for me with the CClub.

To me saving on the premium is not a priority, it is the speed of dealing with a claim that matter to me. I will stay with NFU mutual. £263 for £16000.

dont go with nfu if they deal with claims any slower I will have had my licence revoked due to old age

damage nov still waiting for repair

I got a good price with the C&CC this year but Adrian Flux were the cheapest for my campervan last year and also for my buildings and contents so I'm definitely going to get a price from them for the car next month.

I've heard quite a few tales like this about NFU and then you get a post like yung's saying how good they are...

Could it be down to the local agents?
