Does anyone know if an Alko under body spare wheel carrier will fit my mid 90's BPW chassis (sterling van )?? If so which carrier is the best but cheapest!!
probably not, think bpw do an underslung carrier. personally IMO the underslung carriers are the worst invention ever, pain in the backside to access to change a wheel, big pain to check tyre pressure. avondale had the right idea having an interior hatch to hold the wheel above the axle but as caravans are designed by folk that never actually use them the idea never caught on

I know they are a pain, but the original location was in the front locker which sends the noseweight sky high, I currently stick it inside the van over the axle which is a pain esp when overnighting but don't know which pain would be more bearable, in the van or under it???
