Hello i have had my van serviced today by an approved mobile service company. They tell me there are damp readings of 15-20% in the front of the van near the windows.

I am worried that this could be a problem or are these readings ok. I only have 2 months water ingress warranty left.

The readings were from the sides of front windows.

Rang the service part of the dealer i bought the van for.They said nothing to worry about,but they will check it in a couple of weeks to put my mind at rest.

They also said Coachman wont ok any damp repairs unless they are over 28%

We had a similar reading on our Elddis avante in exactly the same place, ours went in for replacement window seals under warranty and has been fine ever since.

Hope this helps to alleviate some of your worry.

Ok an update on the damp readings. I went to my caravan dealer yesterday and the service guys tested my van in front of me. The readings stayed under 10% in all areas so i'm a happy teddy again.
