I noticed this plate in the gas locker today.  I have seen it before, but actually read it today.

165

It quotes figures of 1300kg.  Do they mean anything?  Are they the legal mtplm?

they are the load and weight figures,1300 is the gross max or MTPLM.

*000000000000* looks like the chassis number.

Thats what I thought.  The given figure is 1000kg, but some vans keep this lower than what is needed so that lighter cars can tow them.

the 100 kgs is a bit low for loading so i take that to be the nose weight,what do you think/

I should think the 1300s are the manufacturers MTPLM and the max for that chassis (so no upgrade possible), and the 100 is the max noseweight for the hitch.

If your car has a lower noseweight, you need to use that.

The first is the MTPLM
! is the leading axle weight
2 is the trailing axle weight (you haven't got one)
the last is the maximum nose weight
