Hi all,  finally after months of looking for a caravan(sold our ranger 500/5 a while back) we have pushed the boat out and ordered a new europa 550.

Cant believe how difficult it is to get a good second hand van........searching the internet each night hoping something will come up, most that did didnt seem to well looked after and others sold literally straight away!

Our original budget went up twice but after looking at the 550 we decided just to put that bit more and have a new one, pick it up next sat and go away for easter to a site not far from Kingsbury......cant wait.

Just wondered if anyone had this van and whats your opinions on it.

I assume its the one with the fixed bed and end bathroom? We have a dealer special based on the Charisma 550. We like it a lot although we have not really had much opportunity to use it since we returned from France last October. I would have quite liked the Europa version but our local Sterling dealer closed down.

Yes thats the one, to be honest we think it ticks all the boxes for us( well we hope it will!) To be honest after endless searching we were after a 2008 challenger 540, but for the extra £2000 we've ended up with a brand new one with a layout that suits us better.

Does seem like a sellers market at the minute.

We advertised our old van on here(spur of the moment thing) And where shocked to get a call straight away, the van was collected in a week!

Just glad we can get ours in time for easter, touch wood picking it up sat morn then away we go!
