Cant believe I finally convinced my OH that vanning is the way forward. A friend of our was selling a 92 Sprite Musketeer so we took my FIL (the expert) along to have a look and he pronounced it sound so we bought it there and then. I cant wait to get away.
Got to get a tow bar fitted to OHs car first. He has a 2009 Audi A4 Avant which I'm thinking should be able to handle towing without a problem. Though he is very nervous, so short trips will need to be the order of the day for now!
We paid £1500 which I thought was a deent price, its spotlessly clean not a hint of damp and has a full awning.
Don't worry about her age at all, caravans are great no matter what year they're made, we bought our first one 2 years ago that was a 1991 and I loved it to bits, if it'd been a 4 berth we'd never have swapped it.
