I must apologise as apparently this is all my fault
How?.....well when we bought out first van 4 years ago, out first trip away was Easter time....and it snowed!
Now we've our new to us van and have taken it out of storage and have got her ready for our first trip of the season. Again it's Easter.....and it's forecast snow...again!
Tonight my DS [who's 7] and I are sleeping in it on the front garden he wants to check it's still as comfy as when we tried it out back in November [again on the front garden!] my DD and OH think we're mad and are leaving us to it.
Am just getting ready to go out there for the night...See you in the morning!
------------- My photos allow you to see what I saw at the time that I took it....No messing.

I don't know - I'm looking forward to a Easter caravanning holiday in the snow - It's even going to snow where we're going... Cornwall
Just checked forcast down here in cornwall according to met check only a bit of snow tomorrow. Lots of rain forcast the second week of the easter holds mon to fri looks good.
Well the van was great....only woke up to the white stuff on the front garden [and i don't just mean our van!!] Am currently up as I'd realised I'd turned off the heating in the van when we left it [now] yesterday morning. We currently have about 4 inches of snow, and more falling as I type, and I panicked about the fact that the water is still all connected...so have nipped out in my jammies and turned the heating on...will this stop the water in the pipes freezing?

I would definitely disconnect the water going into the aquaroll as that will be expensive if it bursts the pump
Its just raining and very windy here, we are off away tomorrow to shropshire but been up and packed the van which was freezing so I connected the gas and turned the gas fire on ,
Was lovely and warm when i left
------------- Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
lLooks like we all going to be in the caravan ,this easter watching the snow fall .cant beat it ,snug inside .just hope its clear roads when wee on the way back home ,,,, ime shure the non caravaner;s think we mad
------------- May the roof of your camper
never fall in ,and the couple inside ,never fall out,
We've just got back from a few days away and we towed back this morning through snow - well it was actually a blizzard! There was snow on the fells and it was bloody freezing. However it was warm and cosy in our van. So glad we went away even though the forecast had been dire.

We're all going to be doing this soon as no-one will be able to afford to put petrol/deisel in the car for much longer.
Lol! Is there anyone who hasn't camped in the garden? That's how we tried ours out for the first time, all five of us :)
I've never camped in the snow, is there any forcast for Derbyshire next week? Well, it'll give me a chance to check my new van's water/snow tight and that the heating etc works!!!
TFWx
5 sleeps to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (just a tad excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
