The Al-ko should fit, the winterhoff probably will as well.

I know new Al-ko ones come complete with adapters so that they will fit any size of drawbar have a look on the Al-ko site to match your van weight with one of their stabilisers

Hi if you have a BPW chassis you will have to fit a Winterhoff as a aks is only suitable for alko  sure they will both fit but a aks can hit the handbrake lever on a bpw and cause it to come on while you are moving  it should tell you on the box when you look at both stabilizers you would be ok with the aks 1300 tho

wrong.... my fleetwood with a bpw chassis is fitted with an alko 1300, the damper is the same and amazingly both alko and bpw put the bolt holes in the same place so both hitches fit

If you read my post I do state that a 1300 will fit BUT if you go to any dealer they will tell you that a 3004 aks should not be fitted to a BPW as I stated the lever can hit the handbrake  and if it has the assisted damper handbrake it can put the handbrake on while traveling if you dont believe me next time you are in a caravan store READ the box of the AKS 3004

Hi I have a 95/96 Fleetwood caravan I recently bought a alko hitch as I thought it would be a safer option when I actually decided to fit said item I realised that the drawbar fittings on my van are different do you know if it can be adapted to fit the alko stabiliser.
