In theory, yes you can.
We do it often and our code is that we take away nothing but our memories and we leave behind nothing but our tyre tracks.

As any place that you can wildcamp with a motorhome, you can also do with a caravan, I suggest that you look up some of the motorhome forums as they seem to be more geared up to wildcamping.
There are areas in Scotland that are geared up for wildcampers and have CDPs, showers and toilets specifically for our use.
However, there are areas where wildcamping is not tolerated namely in the Leadhills and around Loch Lomond where the outdoor rave brigade have spoiled things for everyone.
