Go near, perhaps for a weekend, just to try it out. Presumably you know the list of things you need like water & waste container, hook up lead, gas bottle etc.

We've always found it best to keep stuff purely for in the van, like pots and pans, cutlery, melamine plates etc, towels, bedding. Saves on the packing for a short break.

Hi louisepardoe1971,test it out at a site near your home, staying 1 or 2 nights should find any wee snags in that time, and say 10 -20ml radius if possible,if any thing major wrong you don't have far to return,a lot of caravaners on this form take short trip first time out,and some even travelled 15min from home to thier nearest campsite, tey should be along shortly to give you some good advice, anyway congratulation on your new van hope you get a lot of pleasure from it.

Presumably you are new to caravaning( if not sorry for this addon),Forgot to say when packing van keep heavy items low down and close to wheels, and try not to pack a lot of items in the front gas locker,as this can effect the sability of van when towing.
