Has any one had one of these fitted ,We are Getting a newer van and the insurance company would prefer a tracker fitted ,Looked through the Company Directory and noticed these tried looking at the Phantom ones but link is Broken (Webby) so need some opinions and advice please, never had a van new enought to warrent the fitting of a tracker.

I have used this in the past

Locatea.net, Vehicle Tracking The OnTrack Budget GPS Vehicle Tracking System

It is run using a sim card, so can incur costs, but if you set it up in a way to only connect once a week, or whatever suits your requirements it becomes much cheaper.  By doing this, you can still text the unit and it will text back the lat and long for its current location and if it is stolen it is activated (if set to home) and will text you to say the vehicle is on the move

another here to look at,not sure how it would apply to a caravan unless you had a phone fitted and switched on full time.
