Hello iv'e just had a Westfalia removeable towbar fitted to my Vx Insignia by my dealer. The towball is all painted black do i have to sand this off. Reading the instructions that came with the towbar doesn't say.

 what year is yours?,ours is a '98,we are up in m/cr 10th april on for a week,staying at the cc site at bury.
