Can anyone give me some advice pls?.went away this wk end for 1st time since aug 09.got to the site had almost finished setting up when i opened seat storage and found that mice had been at the bedding after looking all around van they have basically been through every lower cupboard,bathroom vanity unit,shower,wardrobe,drawers,cupboard under cooker ,everywhere!! The bedding was finished we had to throw away 2 double quilts and covers 4 pillows and cases 1 memory foam pillow,my husbands boxers which they had eaten the front out of They also started eating the seat back,luckily its behind so cant really be seen  and also chewed holes in brand new ground sheet thats only been used once its incredible the damage they have done.anyway hubby wanted to come home but kids didnt so we had to go to tesco and replace bedding £50 for quilts and pillows no duvet covers as yet, and spent all good fri cleaning van from top to bottom,Thing is i only took bedding home 2 weeks ago and washed it all ready for this wk end so this has happened recently ,can anyone give me some advice on how to tackle this prob,we have put poison down for now.any ideas would be appreciated

place moth balls at all vents where they can get in.farmers swear by mothballs for mice.read this week,in fact last night the sheets you put in to dry your clothes in the machine will keep them away too.

Wilkisons sells mothballs.

Find out how they got in, the mice got in with me where the wiring loom goes through the floor, they enlarged it slightly to 1/2" diameter.

Now stuffed all possile entrys with stanless steel pan scourers, also from Wilko`s, try chewing that stuff mickey.

The trouble with mice is if they really want to get in they will simply chew through the floor/wall, any point they want to.

Horrible little things and they make me feel sick and dirty!

our van is kept in a field all yr round, near our horses so mice are allways about but never had them in van now if moth balls do work i didnt know but i put moth balls in van last yr when we got it as me mother swears by them in her wardrobe to stop moths eating her clothes!! bless her, so im now sat here thinking what a wonderfull lady she is as shes stopped our van getting mice too, lol
