One Litre of water = One Kilogram.
15 litres in our top tank = 15Kg. 25 litres in the bottom tank = 25Kg. 23 litres in our onboard tank = 23Kg. 5 litres in our hot water tank = 5Kg.
I make that 68Kg max. Take that away from our 294Kg payload and I get 226Kg to spare!!!!!
Both our toilet and the onboard tank are situated near or over the axle and yes, we empty the bottom tank whenever it gets more than half full, but otherwise we travel with the rest full or nearly so.
No stability problems and no leaks, gasses, blow-backs, or any other negative difficulties. If I did have I would be returning these items to the manufacturer as not fit for purpose.
