Whenever we've been tenting and I've looked longingly at Caravans I've always liked the awnings that have the awning openings folded over a bar to let in light air but maintain a bit of privacy. My Fil said that the awning thats come with our caravan doesnt seem to have them and he wasnt sure that you could get them for older awnings.
The van is a 13 year old sprite muskateer but am not sure how old the awning is its a trio cabriolet in gray.

I bought two universal ones at Cattrick Caravans, so I would think most caravan shops would have them, think they were about £9 each. Used them on two different sized caravans/awnings, they are telescopic

There are different ones that closely match your awning width or you can buy 'universal' types. Cheapest is steel, but you can also get aluminium or fibreglass ones. I've been looking at veranda poles too, not sure what type to plump for yet.
As said before the veranda poles are universal BUT the end clamps need to be the right size for the diameter of your present awning poles which can vary
