Over the last 4 years I have had a great time with the caravan, but today it's gone! I have sold the van and am taking a break from caravanning for a year or two, but I will definitely be back!

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone here at ukcampsite.co.uk for all the great advice that I have recieved. Caravanning would not be so good without you all!

I will look in from time to time, but won't be about much for a while.

Like you we are having to take a break from vanning for a while and the van is up for sale.

However there is no reason not to continue keeping in touch on UKCS.

If we cant go vanning then at least we can talk about it!

hi sorry if im over stepping the mark but can i ask why your stopping vanning for a couple of yrs, i feel for you as i would miss it sooooooooooo much and only been vanning for just over a yr or so now,

Thanks for the comments, the van is gone to a really good home, to a couple with grandkids and foster kids, so I hope the all have a great a time as we did with the van.

I will miss caravaning, but for now my kids have kind of outgrown it, and time pressures mean that we will only get a few weekends away again this year, so we are going to use hotels for those. I was kind of sad last year to see the van sitting on the drive for so long, and we had virtually no time to go anywhere! In a couple of years time I will get another "do-er-upper" and get back to the freedom of the van.

I will stop by here for a wee chat from time to time as it has always been such a friendly place.
