Have noticed our Bailey Ranger is lower on the nearside. 

You can fit a fist between the wheel and wheel-arch on the other side but can't fit one in on the nearside.

The nearside is where the fridge and oven etc are but surely the van should be balanced?

That does sound of concern as yes, the whole thing should be balanced if you've towed it unladen (or even in-fact in a laden state).

Daft question, but I assume the tyre pressure has been checked and equal to both tyres.
The Ranger will more than likely use the Alko Euro-Axle, which uses a rubber suspension tube in the axle for suspension; worst scenario might be a problem with this and would need checking by your dealer - see Alko information here

Yes, tyre pressure has been checked.  It has just been serviced but don't know whether this is something that would be checked anyway.

Silly question. are the two wheels the same size with the same size tyres.
