There is a possibility we might be able to get our van earlier than we had thought.

If we buy a van aged somewhere 1996-2003 that doesnt come with an awning, will we be able to buy an awning that will fit it properly ?

Yep, I have found that if you ring then manufacturer of your awning that you choose, they will tell you what one you need if you give them your van make model and year.
