The carpet for our 2007 Swift Challenger 480 is a very light colour.We bought it just before Christmas secondhand. It had only been used four times and the carpets were still like new.Last night we went to Carpet Right and bought a remnant of decent quality carpet for £15.OH drew the outline of the original carpets on the new carpet.He cut it out and fitted in the van.It looks fantastic. It's a better colour and matches perfectly with the upholstery.We haven't bound it or anything and just hope it takes a long time to fray. When it does then back to Carpet Right for another remnant.And to think we nearly paid £70 + carriage for some off Ebay.With a dog and grandchildren I won't be as neurotic now about the odd dirty mark.

The back of the carpet is a felt like material.It seems to bind the carpet together. Still we will see.It was cheap enough. Should have cost £110 if we had bought it off the roll.If it lasts a season we still have only paid £15.

That's a really good idea. We only have laminate in our van but may look into doing this, thanks.

we put carpet tiles in ours and they look great got a couple of spare ones in case of accidents i e grandkids spilling juice they are rubber backed and are very warm xx
