Hi All,

I am a total caravan virgin and I have just bought a caravan and need to insure it and I have no idea who is good and who is not.  I have heard enough dodgy reports of E&L to put me off them but I have had a very good price of Cover4caravans.  Are these lot any good?

we are with CClub but believe NFU are quite good.welcome too.my advice stay away from E + L wish i had.

We are also with Caravan Guard but havent used them yet.

We use the Caravan Club Insurance and have found them really good.  We had to make a claim last year because of the theft of our van.  They were very helpful and we got exactly what we wanted - no question.  We were insured new for old, but that means you have to insure the van for the cost of a new replacement.  As the van was only just over 12 months old when it went, it wasn't a major issue.  They are sometimes a little more expensive, but in my opinion absolutely well worth it.

Read the reviews on E L they are pretty negative, we went with Towergate.
