is there away of putting the lead of the tv in caravan or does it have to just come through the window, do you just have to leave window open wile your using it. we cant seem to see anyother way.. thanks.. new caravaner :)
You can also have installed an external tv cable point. This can be connected to existing coaxial cable inside the van so that you can plug the TV into the internal tv socket.
We are just about to have one fitted into the locker where the EHU cable feeds in.
To save cutting a hole in the caravan wall to take the aerial lead, try putting it through the back of the EHU Box say in one of the top corners. There is usually enough room.
I cant remember where , but I saw flat aerial cables several times today while browsing caravan shops online or ebay. they showed pics of them coming in through caravan windows and being able to close windows properly on top .
Typical ! I just can't find it now ?
edit, found one here
I have put an external point in the front locker and have the mount on the jocky wheel. I simply plug the ariel in to the external point that easily fits under the door of the front locker.
As for cabling from the locker to inside the van, I simply followed the gas pipe and then diverted off to where I wanted it. Plenty of room!

------------- Enjoying caravanning, realising what an expensive hobby it is and spending the family’s inheritance before they can get their hands on it!

I did the same to conect to my sky dish no probs and cheap
The problem that exists with closing the window on coaxial cable is that the window seals get damaged. I was advised against using this method, but I have a socket on the outside of the van to take the feed anyhow.
