Picked up our new (to us) caravan today from Lowdham Leisure.
It's sitting on the drive at the front now - smiling at me.
Everyone at Lowdham was great, we never bought from a dealer before, but they demonstrated everything, replaced bits that weren't perfect, new tyres, water and waste carriers, spare wheel, and were polite and helpful throughout.
Going to try and find a site for next weekend, not too far away, not been vanning for a year so very happy.

Congratulations , I'm still on a happy buzz and we've had ours about 3 weeks now. Lucky you being able to have it on the drive. i felt quite sad when ours had to be put in storage .

Plus it would be so much handier to try to sort
out the little niggly things like battery problems I have at the moment if it was outside .

I hope you can get booked in somewhere nice next week , and wish you many long happy holidays in it .

Hi Kinza

was at Lowdham today picking up at few bits!!! (ie went in for a step came out with everything but!! Its a dreadful place!) Ours is on the drive too at the mo cant stay there as it takes up too much room but its good to have it there while we sort bits out!! 1st trip for us next weekend doing conkers as its not too far from notts and theres something there for the kids!

Any sites in mind for your first trip?

Had already booked end of May for Chatsworth Park. I actually rejoined the Caravan Club in December to book lots of weekends and the summer break - I was so determined to get a van!
OH would like to go away next weekend but unless we can get somewhere real close to Nottm it's not practical as daughter has a skating exam next Saturday
