When placing the blinds down, be it for the sun or night-time use do you take the fly screen with it at the same time or do you just use the fly screen for its intended purpose. I have a Lunar and the fly-screen is just underneath the blind. I have at night been using just the blind but told you should take the fly screen with it also. I have just put a hole in the Fly screen lowering them both. Managed to let go of it and it came of the runner.!!
If you only drop the blinds at night,a small amount of light comes in in the morning. Dropping the flyscreen as well prevents this if you don't like it. I drop the flyscreens near where we are sleeping and leave them up at the other end of the van.
You have all confirmed along the lines I was thinking. I will in future drop only the blinds.. Not too bothered about small amount of daylight getting through. Lesson learnt the hard way. If I had only dropped the blinds I would not have damaged the netting.
Thanks for advise.
I noticed that quite a few people with their vans in storage leave the blinds fully down all the time,on polyplastic windows there is a notice warning not to leave them fully down in the sun.
