Hi all......... just got back from second outing in the van and still learning. Ok i have a coachman vip 520/4 1995. Bradcot sise says i need a 960 awning isabella says 950-975. When i had tracks measured from floor the guy said 948. I have seen a bargin for a Bradcot awning sized 980.......would there be any major problems with this awning on my van???????????????????????

So the actual A measurement is 948. call it 950 for arguments sake

that means that the bradcot size 960 will be 10cm longer than your rail. this will be a good fit. the measurement will vary slightly on uneven ground etc.

a 950-975 will fit any rail within these 2 measurements so it will fit with a bit more room to spare each side

A 980 will likely be a bit too big , as its 30cm longer than your A measurement which will probably result in a saggy roof and droopy sides .

In my search for awning annex information, I came across an awning seller on ebay called canvaslove uk , He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and gave expert honest advice, stopped me from bidding on one of his listings as it wouldnt have fitted my awning. he has lots of awnings in stock try emailing him ebay

Isabella list the VIP 520/4 as a 953 "A" measurement and a 950 Isabella fit see here they also list the van as a 1994 (possibly year of first design).

I've found it better to have an awning a bit short than too long as the skirt will take up shortness but you just can't get rid of extra length.
