hi..just bought a bailey pagent moselle 1999 got a problem with the fire its a carver fanmaster 4000 blownair and the fan has stopped working phoned my nearest bailey dealer they said no longer make them anymore, has any one got any ideas what i can do to fix the problem...cheers graham

hi checked the fuse, the fire still works but not the fan it ground to a halt then stopped

you may need to get a service engineer to check it ut, it may be full of fluck and muck, but being a gas item, you should be careful. Good luck gary

It will be the motor thats given up. I had the same problem. There on the back of the fire & can sometimes be a pig to get too. You can still get the motors. & i have seen a brushes kit for them as well. i will try & find out were to get them from. GARY will be along soon he is the master of them.

cheers for the advise.. Fan motor now working took it out and found one of the spring clips holding the bushes in had broke, managed to fix it by taking one out of an old electric strimmer JOB DONE
